Jane Autry
Jane Is a perpetual student of the arts, focusing on Fine Oils, choosing as her genre, dolls and flowers. Hedonism, (beauty) is the theme of most of Jane’s art, Her paintings are based on gifts that have been given her.
Although this may seem a bit sentimental, Jane says, “So what’s wrong with being sentimental?”
Jane grew up without a clue that she was born to be an artist. It wasn’t until her junior year in high school that she took her first art class, and although greatly intimidated by other students in the class, she did her best and found the process thoroughly enjoyable.
Today Jane finds and makes time to paint, loving every minute of it.
As Jane has taught high school and college level Art for more than 20 years, she particularly likes her summers and devotes them to painting.
